The Excellent Wife
In the 50’s, the wives who looked like they had everything together, were the ones in their pressed dresses with not a hair out of place, taking the pie out of the oven as she kisses her husband and welcomes him home form work. This is not possible. My hair would be all messed up, my dress would probably catch on fire causing me to throw my burnt pie into my husbands face. Thankfully, the above scenario is not God’s requirement to be an excellent wife. Martha Peace carefully explains through the Scriptures what requirements there are to be an excellent wife, and how through Christ’s help, to accomplish these goals. Topics such as communication, intimacy, submission, and mis-perceptions, help wives to see how they can change and by God’s grace, become excellent wives.
